As soon as Heather Rayleen Bennefield was talking she was singing. She started performing at churches and rodeos as early as age 6. Shortly after earning a music scholarship she was invited to play ‘fiddle’ with the Scooter Brown Band. It was around that time that she was inspired to write her own music, so she borrowed her dads old guitar and started teaching herself to play. It only took a year of performing with SBB to realize it was time to launch her solo career. Since then she has shared the stage and opened for several singer/songwriters such as Cody Johnson, Brandon Rhyder, Josh Ward, and Jason Cassidy to name a few. Heather enjoys and is inspired by all genres of music. A natural performer, Heather hopes to share with the world her voice and the ‘feeling that she gets in the pit of her stomach when she hears a great song.’ Although she embraces her country roots, this versatile songstress effortlessly bridges the gap between blues, rock, and pop every time she takes the stage.
