Houston has proven itself as a breeding ground for up and coming artists—the city stimulates and cultivates a broad spectrum of musical styles. Caddy Kartel is no exception as they bring you the multi-faceted sounds of hip-hop infused with rock and pop.

Since their break into the music game, Caddy Kartel has been blessed to work with some of the best in the entertainment industry. This includes: Super Producer “TA”, world renown mastering by Kevin Nix at L Nix Mastering in Memphis, TN, and Web work by Joe Williams of Critikil Inc. In 2009, the group had the distinct honor of opening up for Lil Wayne at the American Bank Convention. This performance catapulted a huge buzz and music industry insiders started to take notice. After their successful performance at Lil Wayne’s concert, Caddy Kartel continued to opened up for other mainstream artists such as Pitbull, David Banner, UGK, Ludacris, TI, Slim Thug, Devin the Dude, Ice Cube and many others. In addition to creating music they’ve tapped into the commercial side or making jingles. Their “Backpack, backpack” jingle for the syndicated Rod Ryan Morning Show on 94.5 The Buzz has been a huge success. Aside from doing jingles for the Rod Ryan Morning show, Caddy Kartel has also created the commercials for H-Town Bail bonds. Currently they have been asked by Black Iguana to create a jingle/commercial for their brand.

As Caddy Kartel’s music transcends from one song to the next, it is clear that they bring all the elements of music to the table. Their sound is more than what fits into one genre. “We are entertaining; our music is motivational and unique. Our music allows people to escape the lethargy of everyday life. The group not only has developed themselves as artists while completing their album, but offers their fans a wide variety of music from urban hip-hop to rock to r&b to pop and dance—–something that everyone can relate to.

Caddy Kartel has no plans of slowing down as the group is currently working on their second album, “Change” which will showcase a more commercialized, diverse side of the group. This album includes singles like Red Light District, BASS, With You featuring their new R&B artist, Larry Boi and You Had Me featuring their sultry artist, Elizabeth DeLeon. Their newest video Red Light District has pushed the limit in creativity from independent artists and has opened the door for their next projects for their follow up singles Loca and Bass.
